Lynn tied in up in the second stanza mostly by out playing us. Half way through the third period Air Spencer flew up the boards again and received a beauty pass from Ryan Lally, whipping the shot past the stunned goalie. The heat mounted as the game continued, both sides getting chances and both goalies coming up huge. With a few minutes left a breakdown in defense led to quick shot and score by Lynn to notch things at 3. That's how it ended 3-3 as the Beverly team just couldn't put it in with a power play as time ran out. Eben Crawford, Ty Lange, Andy Brown and Matt Ericksen played very well on defense. Game plan for 3rd period went out the window when Stoneham struck for 6 unanswered goals in 4 minutes at the start. Zack Murphy spoiled the shutout with an unassisted score. CJ made some huge saves but when you save everything but the kitchen sink, sometimes the sink scores. Midgets still need to work on defensive coverage. Good play from Jake Dube, Andy Brown, and matt Ericksen. Coach's gray hair is spreading.
Week of 9/2/07

Scoring for Beverly was Dan Crowley with 2, Phil Carter and Eben Crawford with 1. Assists came from Mike vonZweck, Carter, Erick Sun, Bryan Spencer and Dan Crowley.
